It is almost that time for our Read-A-Thon to start. Students will be challenged to read an extra 20 minutes a day during our Read Across America Celebration February 27th Through March 3rd. They will also be able to earn prizes by collecting sponsors.
There are two ways to donate now through February 21st:
1) Students and parents can collect donations, fill out the sponsor sheet and
turn in the envelope and donation sheet by February 21st
2) Parents, friends, and relatives can go to the Maude Wilkins GoFundMe Page to
make donations. In the comment section, please make sure to list the child's
name who is being sponsored so they receive the credit. Students should also
list it on their donations sheet as a GoFundMe donation. The link is below

Students who participate will receive rewards for completing their reading challenge. They also receive prizes starting with a $5.00 donation. The children have all of the information, which they will be bringing home today.
There is also a Principal’s Challenge. If the school raises $3,000.00, the students will choose Mr. Ormsby’s challenge by voting online.
Students will be able to vote for one of the following:
Eat chocolate-covered insects
Sleep on the roof of the school
Make Mr. Ormsby a Human Sundae with Ice Cream Toppings
Make Nickelodeon Slime and dumping it on Mr. Ormsby
Cover Mr. Ormsby in Silly String
